My entry for :iconzero-x-yuki-club: Unseen and Unheard contest
With the theme being "unseen,unheard", I decided to draw something of happier times, before innocence was lost. The concept came to me thinking Zero ought to act like a big brother towards Yuuki. They are family according Headmaster Cross.

"Read your sister a book before bedtime, Zero!"
"Why?"
"I'm busy with adult work. Besides, you owe Yuuki for doing your share of chores too many times."
"It was just once that she did my share."
"Zero...you know all the words in the book. Can you read to me?"
"..... ..... ...... ....fine... ...only until you fall asleep."
"Yay!"

" I tried to keep the colors simple and details to a minimal to reflect almost a memory like picture. I wanted to make it like crumpled paper or burnt photo-ish, but then remembered IT'S SUPPOSE TO BE THE GOOD TIMES! Yuuki is the only one Zero ever shows his weak horrible self to. She's probably seen all his bad moody sides, including his good kind protective side. I believe that since they were kids, Zero has wanted to protect Yuuki from the vampire world, even fully knowing her longing for Kaname.

I had a hard time thinking of a phrase to reflect Zero's character in the past. He owes her some sorta debt of gratitude when she comforted him to sleep, and she stopped him from tearing away his vampire bitten neck. Zero may not be sociable or friendly to others, but for Yuuki, he'll do anything <3 <3 <3. It's an old song, but Monica's For You I Will portrays Zero's soft side quite well \^o^/

Human Yuuki would do anything for Zero too, so this song is like a double reflector.

Imagine Yuuki calling Zero-nii sama.... --> Kaname will not give me a pleasant death.

that's of them when they were younger. i know this because when yuki has long hair and she was older, she's a vampire,and zero hated her. but when she had long hair when she was younger, she was human, and zero was her friend. so for this to make any synce, they have to be younger in this. pluse, they both look younger in this pic. but its still a nice pic none the less.
